Unfortunately Autumn has crept up on us and Summer is coming to an end for another year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t stay sunkissed for at least another couple of months.
This tutorial is a ‘how to’ on applying bronzer to your face.
Firstly, avoid using a bronzer which has an orange base, I have been using Maybelline New York – Dream Terra Sun all summer and I absolutely love it, it’s shimmer free which means you can use it over your entire face.
If you are unsure where to place your bronzer, tilt your head back and imagine where the sun would naturally hit your face (hairline, forehead, temples, nose, chin).
After swirling your bronzer brush through your bronzer make sure you tap the brush to remove any excess powder.
Start by sweeping the brush across the top of your hairline, down your temples and under your cheek bone. Although sun would not naturally hit underneath your cheekbone it creates a slimming effect and will help define your facial features.
Softly brush down the bridge of your nose and over your chin (you want these parts to be very light).
Go back to the compact and give it another swirl, tap and then lift your chin to bronze down your neck and chest to match the bronzed colour of your face.
Finish with a highlighter powder on the apples of your cheeks and down your nose.
Now you’ll be bronzed all year round.
