As with most things in life, it’s the simple things that count for beautiful skin. Here are five easy peasy ways to keep your skin healthy and glowing!
1. HYDRATION = HAPPY SKIN
It’s all about the H20! Drinking plenty of water is an easy way to keep your skin looking fantastic, and it’s free!
2. EXFOLIATE
Try to exfoliate 1-2 times a week. Exfoliation removes dead skin cells – sounds icky, but better off than on hey girls! A good exfoliation will leave your skin smooth and glowing, showing off those healthy baby skin cells only!
3. MAKE-UP REMOVAL
Leaving make-up on overnight is HUGE no-no! Think of all those pores suffocating and blocking over night under coats of foundation! Blocked pores very quickly turn into pimples, which require more make-up to cover… it’s a vicious circle, so take the extra five minutes before bed to remove all make-up so your skin can breathe easy.
4. MOISTURISE
The only thing that I recommend for people to put on their skin before bed is a moisturising face cream. This can feel heavenly after a face-scrub or wash, and means you wake up the next morning with soft, fresh skin!
5. CLEANSE CORRECTLY
Splashing some cold water over your face and calling it cleansing isn’t the greatest for your skin. If possible, try to wash your face in luke warm water and with a small portion of a good cleanser suited to your skin type. Neutrogena have a fantastic range that has been dermatologically tested.
